|
Applications engineer to support WLAN issues in customer mobile phone designs.
Skills required:
BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science.
3+ years Embedded or wireless system software development and integration on telecommunications devices a plus.
2+years in Wireless LAN software development and Knowledge of 802.11 protocols and Development in RTOS environment is highly desired
Prior experience with WLAN STA/softAP/P2P technologies
Good experience in C/C++ programming Development experience in Android/Linux software is preferred
Debug the SW using various debugging tools. (e.g. TRACE32)
Candidates should be flexible about job assignments, should be detail oriented and have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be self motivated, agile, good team player and able to work with minimal supervision. Good inter-personal skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
It is a very challenging position requiring the candidate to learn and internalize end client's WLAN software and operation concepts very quickly.
Supporting a wide range of customer issues in WLAN. It exposes the candidate to the key players in the WLAN industry worldwide
Some travel for on-site customer support may be required |
